It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melanie Rene Tumino-Hallisey (Houston, Texas), who passed away on May 31, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elizabeth "Betty" May (Tweet) and Chester Starrett. She is survived by : her husband Dr. Thomas Hallisey; and her sisters, Michelle Savage (Scott) and Melody Gibson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11th 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carter-Conley Funeral Home (13701 Corpus Christi St, Houston, TX 77015). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 11th 2022 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11th 2022 at 2:30 PM at the San Jacinto Memorial Park (14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX 77015).
