She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesus Soto and Fortunata Ramirez Soto; and her husband Eliberto "Gilbert" Mendoza. She is survived by : her children, Raquel Noemi Ashcraft Tyler (John "Charlie" Chrismon) and Orlando Eliberto Mendoza (Veronica Zuniga Mendoza); her son-in-law Walter Lee Ashcraft; her grandchildren, Emilio Lee Ahcraft, Cecilia Ann Ashcraft, Jacob Justin Bridgers (Alyssa Stone), Savannah and Sophia Mendoza; and her siblings, Guadalupe Soto, Maria Smith, Petra Gutierrez, Mateo Soto, Megdaleno Soto, Macario Soto, Crespin Soto and Julia Mendoza. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 18th 2022 from 10:10 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church (11011 Hall Rd, Houston, TX 77089). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 18th 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral mass was held on Wednesday, May 18th 2022 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 18th 2022 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Park (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
