Brays Oaks Management District Board of Directors met April 19.
Here is the agenda provided by the board:
1. Determine quorum; call meeting to order.
2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse, malign or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privilege).
3. Consider Resolution Waiving Automatic Resignation of Board Member.
4. Approve Minutes of meeting held on March 22, 2022.
5. Approve FY2021 Annual Financial Report and Audit from McCall Gibson Swedlund Barfoot PLLC.
6. Receive Assessment Collection Report.
7. Receive and consider monthly financial report and approve invoices for payment.
8. Receive update from Business and Economic Development Committee.
9. Receive update from Public Safety Committee.
10. Receive update and recommendations from Beautification and Urban Design Committee.
a. Consider Price Wagener task order regarding tree removal.
b. Consider Price Wagener task order for esplanade plant replacement.
11. Receive update and recommendations from Infrastructure Committee.
a. Consider letter of support for Ruffino Hills Redevelopment.
b. Consider engaging M2L to work on Fondren Road in partnership with the City of Houston; and authorize execution of contract.
12. Receive update and recommendation from the community development committee regarding the following application for support funding within the district:
a. Maplewood North/South Improvement Association
13. Receive Executive Director’s Report.
14. Receive and consider amended budget as recommended by committees; and take appropriate action.
15. Adjourn.
