Southwest Management District Board of Directors met March 28.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Determine quorum; call meeting to order. 

2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no  yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or  engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse, malign  or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privileges.) 

3. Approve Minutes of meeting held February 28, 2022. 

4. Receive Assessment Collection Report. 

5. Receive monthly financial report and approve payment of invoices. 

6. Receive update and recommendations from Business and Economic Development Committee. 

a. Consider sponsorship request from Tzu Chi Foundation for its charity walkathon. 

b. Consider sponsorship request from iFest USA for its International Festival USA. 

7. Receive updates and recommendations from Public Safety Committee. 

a. Consider amended SEAL Security contract per approved budget. 

8. Receive updates and recommendations from Environmental and Urban Design Committee. 

a. Consider price increase for Bellaire Corridor maintenance for 2022 from SMC Landscape Services. 

9. Receive Executive Director’s Report. 

10. Convene Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.074, Texas Government Code, to deliberate the  appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or  employee. 

11. Reconvene in Open Session and authorize appropriate action regarding the appointment, employment,  evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee and board member  positions. 

12. Adjourn.
