He was predeceased by : his close friend Joe Cole; his mother Bobbie; and his pets, Nala and DJ. He is survived by : his wife Deanna Marie McKee; his daughters, Madison Ellyse Rodriguez, Mackenzie Lane Paula Barrera and Crystal Lee McKee Robinson; his son-in-law Juan; his father Robert Ferris Dethlefs; his parents-in-law, Greg Douglas (Brenda Brown) and Deborah Douglas; his brothers-in-law, Joseph Scott Douglas (Audrey) and Cody Colvin; and his niece Celeste Douglas.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30th 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 30th 2022 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, March 30th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
