She was predeceased by : her husband W. F. "Smitty" Smith; and her siblings, Bernadine Coats, Irma Little and Jeff Sommer. She is survived by : her daughter Susie Smith Whisnant; her son-in-law John Whisnant; her grandson Daniel; and her pet Ziva.
