He was predeceased by : his parents, Guillermo Aguilar Sr. and Hermelinda Aguilar; and his sister Noelia Becerra. He is survived by : his children, Jessica Lynn Aguilar and Luis Aguilar Jr. (Melanie); his grandchildren, Jacob Landon Corrales, Jaelynn Marie Aguilar and Joseph Luis Aguilar; and his siblings, Janie Garza (Emilio), Maria Elena Gutierrez (Meme), Guadalupe Garcia, Guillermo Aguilar Jr. (Karen), Alice Ojeda, Robert Aguilar (Cynthia), Ruben Aguilar (Dalila) and Michael Aguilar (Xochitl). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 2nd 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 2nd 2022 at 6:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 3rd 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Compean Funeral Home (2102 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77012).
