Harris County Memorial Management District Board of Directors met Feb. 16.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Call meeting to order, take attendance and verify a quorum is present.

2. Public comments.

3. Staff Report.

4. Reorganize the Board.

5. Approve minutes of the January 19, 2022, meeting.

6. Financial report and bookkeeping matters, including:

a. payment of bills and review of investments and cash flow reports; and

b. resolution designating authorized signatories for banking transactions.

7. Assessment and collection report including collection of delinquent assessments and payment of bills, and report on valuation lawsuits by District assessment payers against the Harris County Appraisal District.

8. Engineering matters, including approval of any proposals, pay estimates and change orders, and

final acceptance, as appropriate, for:

a. Gessner Road Paver Replacement Update; and

b. Gessner Road/Mathewson Lane traffic signal project.

9. Utility Burial Reimbursement Program, including reimbursement agreements.

10. District Maintenance, including approval of any pay estimates, change orders, design authorizations, plans, advertisement for bids, solicitation of proposals and award of contracts, as appropriate, for:

a. Landscape maintenance, modifications, and repair;

b. Irrigation maintenance, modifications, and repair;

c. Hardscape maintenance, modifications, and repair;

d. Graffiti abatement; and

e. Sign installation, maintenance, modifications, and repair.

11. Security matters, including:

a. Constable’s Report;

b. Security camera installation project; and

c. Interlocal Agreement for Law Enforcement Services.

12. Community Relations Update.

13. Convene in Executive Session pursuant to: Section 551.074, Texas Government Code, to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; and, pursuant to Section 551.076, Texas Government Code, to deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security personnel or devices, or a security audit.

14. Reconvene in Open Session and authorize appropriate action.

15. Adjourn.
