Autism Learning Partners (ALP) announced that it will be expanding throughout Texas, adding four more locations to treat autism and developmental disabilities.

According to a release, ALP is expanding to Dallas, Frisco, Houston and Round Rock. This is due to the large need for these services in the community and to complement in-home services around the Lone Star State. There are more than 80,000 children with autism in Texas.

“We’re committed to making progress possible for families in Texas by employing the best local clinical and operational leaders who strive to put families first,” Dr. Gina T. Chang said.

The new locations bring the total to six across the state. The existing two spots are in El Paso and Austin. The expansion will bring essential coverage to all corners of the state.

The company offers services in 20 states, including: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington.

“ALP strives to give hope, support and paths of progress for children and their families living with autism and related disorders,” the release states. “With their vast network of community partnerships and ever-growing list of accepted insurances, families can receive quality support.”

ALP has been in the field for more than 30 years, the release states. It is based in Monrovia, California and includes 280 Board Certified Behavior Analysts and a workforce of 3,000 people. This includes Behavior Technicians for in-home and in-center care all across the nation. These services include Applied Behavioral Analysis, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and diagnostic services.

“ALP is committed to a multidisciplinary approach and continuing collaborative efforts with related service providers, including speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy,” the release states. “ALP currently has no wait time for home-based services and currently waitlisting families for our new centers.”
