He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Sam Henry Lee Sr. and Edna Isabell Laughlin-Lee; his wife Billie Jean Hill Lee; his grandchildren, Sam Edward Lee, Lauren Elizabeth Sparks, Robin Weaver (Jimbo Weaver), Leigh, Ann Taylor, Scott Lee (Kim Lee), Brian McGee (Hollie McGee), Chris McGee (Lindsey McGee), Jeff McGee (Randi McGee) and Lane Sparks (Amy Sparks); his children, Landa Shaw (James Shaw), Byron Henry Lee (Laura Lee) and Rose Marie Sparks; his great grandchildren, Leslie Jackson (AJ Jackson), Blake Lorentz, Ally Weaver, Sam Lee, Davis Lee, Shelby Lee, Logan Lee, Morgan McGee, Boston McGee, Beckett McGee, Walker Rose McGee, Nicholas Stanger, Kathryn Stanger, Scott Lee, Brian McGee, Jeff McGee, Chris McGee, Lane Sparks and Brooks McGee; his great great grandchild James Jackson; and his caregivers, Judi, Inga, Mary Ann, Shelly, Gina, Tracy, Amy and Sandy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14th 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Cashner Funeral Home (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 14th 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
