Did you know that Artemis's was a goddess and worshipped in ancient times? In fact, her temple in Ephesus, Greece was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient Worlds.
Shelter staff describes Artemis as a girl who loves adventure and is always up for a trip to the beach, walk in the park, or any activity where she gets to spend time with her companions, both human and canine! Her sniffer is always going and she loves to explore, then again Artemis was the goddess of the hunt so maybe that is where she gets her adventurous side from!
One goofy trait staff and volunteers always point out is her 'happy go lucky' expression aka big smile and slobbery tongue hanging out! #tongueouttuesdays!
HURRICANE SURVIVOR...Artemis was rescued from an animal shelter in New Orleans following hurricane Ida
Hurricane Ida devastated for the state of Louisiana, especially the city of New Orleans. Not only has it left the city in a state of emergency, but animal shelters have been stranded with no power, little food and resources to care for the ones they have in their shelter.
My adoption fee is just $72.50
