Adolph Anthony "Bubba" Pfeffer, Jr.

1930-2021

Adolph "Bubba" Pfeffer passed away peacefully on November 15, 2021.

Born in Houston, TX, he was educated at St. Anne's Elementary School, St Thomas High School, The University of Texas, and graduated from the University of Houston while raising his first rice crop. He was deeply involved in family, rice milling and farming, banking, Texas history and The University of Texas football. Those who knew him remember his love for Waller County, myriad of friends, infectious and humorous conversations, dogs, planting and nurturing trees at the farm, and his 'my word is my bond' honor. His greatest and deepest attribute was his love of God.

Bubba was preceded in death by his father, Adolph Pfeffer Sr., and his mother, Margaret Sager ""Motsy"" Pfeffer. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Noelie ""Sissy"" Pfeffer, and their two sons, Kirk Pfeffer and wife Katie, and Blake Pfeffer and wife Jeanne. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tori Pfeffer Farrell and husband Jesse, Kendall Pfeffer, Mary Therese Pfeffer Feak and husband Dan, Ben Pfeffer and wife Cat Palmer, Rick Pfeffer and wife Stacie, Grace Pfeffer, Maggie Pfeffer, Suzanne Pfeffer and Blake ""Bubba"" Pfeffer, Jr; and great grandchildren Noelie and Bea Farrell, Liam and Maeve Pfeffer, and Ella Feak. He is also survived by his beloved cousins, Barbara Alban, Bernard ""B.G."" Carbajal, Nicholas ""Larry"" Carbajal, Carolyn McCairns, Brenda Hemphill, Robin Dawson, Debbie Dawson and their families.

A visitation will be held at Bradshaw-Carter Funeral Home at 1734 W. Alabama on Monday, November 22 from 4:30 to 7:00. The funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, November 23 at 2:00 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 3617 Milam, preceded by a Rosary there at 1:30. Interment will follow immediately afterwards at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
