Martha Jones Anderson
1927-2021
Martha Jones Anderson (Bebe) passed away August 30, 2021. Bebe joined her savior Jesus and the love of her life Jimmy in Eternity. Bebe was born in Houston November 2, 1927 to Paula Pozyski Jones and John Edward Jones.
She graduated from Reagan High School in 1945 and earned a BS from the University of Houston in 1949. She retired from Chevron Chemical in 1992 after a long career in the chemical business.
Bebe was a faithful and dedicated Catholic and member of Holy Rosary Church and attended Mass every day. She was a member emeritus of The Charity Guild of Catholic Women and she and her husband were active in the membership of the Serra Club of Houston promoting vocations in the Catholic faith.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband James Howard Anderson and an endless list of cousins. Her surviving relatives include cousin Barbara Ann Dobson and daughter in law Naomi Anderson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 am, Friday, October 22, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3617 Milam St., Houston, TX 77002. Donations may be made to The Charity Guild.
