A local real estate company that specializes in the development, acquisition and investment opportunities in commercial real estate recently broke ground on a medical office building in the western portion of the city.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Memorial Villages was held on Oct. 12 by CBK Interests, the developers.
Cullen Kappler, principal of CBK Interests, said the new building will have cutting edge technology that will serve local residents.
"The practice of medicine is a complex undertaking which requires a delicate blend of expertise and compassion. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the dedicated medical professionals at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic to develop this state-of-the-art facility which will deliver best-in-class health care services to the local community," Kappler said.
The medical office building scope of work involves construction of a 126,113-square-foot, five-story class AA health building, along with a seven-story structured parking garage at the corner of the I-10 and Campbell Road intersection near the Houston suburb of Spring Valley Village.
Spring Valley Village City Administrator Julie Robinson said the city is proud to welcome Kelsey-Seybold Clinic "to our community," according to PRNewswire.
The property is owned by CBK SS Wellington MOB LLC with the development being constructed by CBK Interests, Inc. and Saber Street.
