To an Exceptional Mom and Exceptional Grandmother

It is with great sadness to announce that our precious mom Irma Mims has left this world unexpectedly on September 8, 2021 at the age of 70. Irma was an extremely caring mother, grandmother and great friend and her loving heart and bright smile left a beacon of light for all who knew her. 

She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana to Adam Ernest and Cecliea Cormier on February 23, 1951. She is survived by her three children Ron, Sonji, and Chris along with her grandkids Amber, Azaria and Alyssa who made up the entirety of her world. Irma enjoyed devoting her life to her family and we shall pay our respects privately for immediate family members only. What a wonderful mother and grandmother and friend Irma was, and how sorely she will be missed and Forever remembered. Thank you for everything.
