It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lena Marie Applegate (Pearland, Texas), born in Marksville, Louisiana, who passed away on September 21, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Louise Osborn and Marion Osborn; and her husband Walter Applegate. She is survived by : her daughter Tiffany Applegate; her sisters, Amy Hill and Rene Naschke; and her nephews, Randy Rice, Jacob Rice (Kristen) and Nathan Wagner. She is also survived by numerous great nephews, nieces, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 23rd 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in honor of Lena Applegate's memory to the Reach Out and Read Children's Foundation.
