Houston-based software company Liongard continues to see growth in the last three years despite the restrictions of the pandemic.

Its rapid business expansion included an increase of its workforce.

"As we started looking for talent, we realized that there's a lot of great talent in Houston," co-founder and CEO Joe Alapat said. "At the same time, with the speed at which we're growing, we had to remove all barriers to be able to find the best talent."

The company has swelled from 30 before the pandemic to 115 after due to an increase in demand for their services. While many are Houston-based, some are fully remote and that is part of the long-term plan, according to Houston Business Journal.

Liongard covers nearly 50,000 businesses today after only serving one business three years ago. Last year they were recognized with the No. 1 position on Houston Business Journal's Fast-100 list due to the incredible revenue growth over two years.

The company has recently moved into a new office space in the Ion, a co-working space for startups that Alapat is excited about. He stated that they were "really excited about getting back to seeing other startups, other companies and seeing them in-person."
