NAN and Company Properties Christie’s International Real Estate plans to work on The Resident at Tiki Island and build many amenities.
NAN set the planned completion date in late Spring 2024.
“The Residences at Tiki Island is the first condominium property on Tiki Island and the first new construction development for the area in over a decade,” Nancy Almodovar, CEO of NAN, said in a release. “Galveston has seen an incredible surge in interest from buyers all over the country. With our recent expansion to Galveston, coupled with the expertise of our Developer Services team, we are excited to showcase this property to buyers locally and throughout our expansive Christie’s International Real Estate network.”
The blueprints showed there are to be 70 condominiums, two-story penthouses, eight luxury villas, a large marina restaurant and a boathouse to store over 200 boats, Houston Agent Magazine reported.
“We are so excited to announce the project and bring this new offering to buyers that are drawn to the area for a second home or boating experience,” Betty Harbourt, Developer Services Division executive vice president, said in a release. “The developers are planning a very unique lifestyle that will provide a new restaurant, boat storage and the lock and leave opportunity of condominium living.”
NAN opened an office in Galveston, Texas, this year.
“This is our second development in the Galveston area, and it is going to be extraordinary,” Haythem Dawlett, Legend Communities founder and CEO, said of The Residences at Tiki Island in Houston Agent Magazine. “There is nothing else like it on Tiki Island, and we anticipate demand to be unprecedented because nothing else resembles it.”
The Residences at Tiki Island, which is developed by Austin-based Legend Communities, offers condominiums starting in the $800s and villas starting in the low $1Ms.
NAN will exclusively market the property with Harbourt in charge.
NAN was created to fulfill a market need to work with developers at every stage of the project.
