Steven Anthony Bouchard

Steven Bouchard, age 71, of Eastford, CT died unexpectedly on Saturday August 14th, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was born on April 28th, 1950 to Joseph A. and Ruth G. Bouchard and lived his younger years in Bolton and Hartford CT.
An eclectic artist and Renaissance man, Steven was also a former hospice volunteer coordinator for Hospice of NECT. He was a respected actor at many local and regional theaters in CT, an award winning visual artist, and accomplished at carving, woodburning, and sculpting. His short animated films were official selections at juried, independent film festivals in MA, NH, and Washington DC.
Steven was a published author, having most recently released an anthology of short stories. He was never far from his guitar. Steven is survived by his wife Janet and his children Tiffany Anne Bouchard, her husband Douglas Goins, and his son Joshua Bouchard. He will be missed. Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Connecticut at Day Kimball Hospital.
