Olympia, Washington - On July 3, 2021 Alma Lois Nelson, 94, was called home to heaven to join our Lord and to reunite with her husband, Norris. She passed peacefully at her home on Lake St. Clair surrounded by her loving family. 

Alma was born on Aug. 23, 1926 in Tioga, ND to Alpha (Momb) and Lars Heen. Alma had one sister, Bonnie (Heen) Rediske. Alma is survived by her children Mark & Mary Nelson, Naomi & Billy Larsen, & Karen Benedict. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren: Kirsten & Travis McCracken, Lauren Fode, Britt & Steve Fontana, Liv & Jason Perez, Josh & Ashley Nelson, Sam Nelson, Brianna & Will Brenes, and Katie Nelson; and her great-grandchildren Maren & Brock McCracken Ethan, Anders & Vivienne Perez and Max & Charlotte Fontana. There will be a service at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church in Lacey, WA on Tuesday, Aug. 31st at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow.
