Clayton James Ellington

Clayton James Ellington, 62, of Baytown, Texas, passed away August 11, 2021. He was born in Burnet, Texas on August 4, 1959 to James Clayton Ellington and Leona Jane Lyda.
He worked for Cheveron Phillips and Gulf as an Operator for 39 years. He was a member of Old River Masonic Lodge. He had a special place in his heart for all of his extra grandsons on the Lumber Jacks Baseball Team.
He was preceded in death by his mother Leona Jane Gatwood, step-father George Gatwood, and sister Janie Lynn Smith. He is survived by his parents James Ellington and Frances Ellington, daughters Elizabeth “Nikkie” Ellington, Jacqulyn “Jackie” Moss and spouse Jordan Moss. Grandkids Kolton and Avery. Nephew Robert “Keith” Smith and spouse Charee, James D. Ellington, niece Stacey Smith- Schimming, and aunt LaNelle Lyda.
Pallbearers will be Robert “Keith” Smith, Gaines Wright, Jordan Moss, Vince Chavers, Jerry Hoskins, and Jack Pennington Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Arguijo, Bryan Fitzpatrick, Chuck Robinson, and Kolton Veach.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow, starting at 11:00 AM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521. Graveside services will be held following the funeral service at 12:30, in Earthman Memory Gardens, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, Texas 77521.
