Efren Arnaldo Arjona
AUGUST 11, 1947 – JULY 23, 2021
On Friday, July 23, 2021, Efren Arnaldo Arjona, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 73. Efren was born August 11, 1947 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
Efren was a man with a passion for many hobbies. He loved fishing, boating and singing. His singing was not only admired by friends and family, but also by anyone who had the pleasure to share the same space with him. He was never shy, and lit up the room with his voice. Efren was also a prominent business owner in Pasadena, Texas for more than 35 years. He worked endlessly, and even when “retired” he still found himself at his upholstery shop, Arjona Upholstery. His upholstery shop will live on in his legacy and we will honor him every day.
Efren was known for being kind, extraordinarily happy and having a compassionate spirit. His laughter brightened everyone’s day and his kind smile lives on in all of us. He loved his children and especially his seven grandchildren and great granddaughter. They were the light of his life and he was proud of all of their accomplishments. He will continue to stand by them every day in spirit.
Efren is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Elsy Arjona; his children Maggie Gonzalez and husband Alfredo, Sammie Arjona, Efren Arjona and wife Suzy, and Karina Arjona. He will be missed deeply by his grandchildren Alfredo and wife Nikki Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez and partner Brianna Butaud, Starr Arjona and partner Nathan Farley, Jordan Kent and daughter Carlotta Kent, Andrea Achach, Isaak Achach and Camila Achach.
