Jesse Edwin Yates, age 79, of Conroe, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. He was born August 20, 1941 in Conroe, TX.
Jesse graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, and attended Prairie View A&M University. He was married to Sandra K. Yates their love was united on September 3, 1988.
Jesse retired from Southwestern Bell after 30+ years. He was a member of Fallbrook Church, and a lifetime member of the Prairie View Interscholastic League Coaches Association (PVILCA). Jesse had a passion for reading, watching westerns, sports (Astros, Texans), staying active and spending time with family and friends.
Jesse is survived by his devoted wife Sandra, 3 children; Dwayne, Thomasina, Loretta, 4 grandchildren; Crystal (Brannon), Shaun, Shane, Jesse (Lorenzo), 3 great-grandchildren; Gabriel, Bella, Brielle, 3 sisters; Gloria, Ruby, Yvonne (Roy), brother-in-law; Larry (Vanessa), 5 sister-in-laws; Jessie, Wonderful, Bobbie, Beatrice, Jackie, and Sophia, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, loving friends and neighbors.
A private service will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home and family will have a public memorial service at a later time.
