Yancy Gerald (Jerry) Hinson, Jr., age 71, born January 19, 1950 in Charlotte, NC, died July 16, 2021 at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Med Center. He was 71 years old. Jerry was a lifelong Methodist, and worked for Esso/Exxon/ExxonMobil for 48 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cynthia Thomas Hinson of Conroe; son, Yancy Gerald Hinson, III and wife, Tara of Willis, TX; Daughter, Elizabeth Hinson Franklin and husband Jason Franklin of Willis, TX; and son William Thomas Hinson of The Woodlands, TX. Funeral services will be at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas 77303) July 24, 2021 at 2 p.m. with The Rev. Morris Matthis as officiant. 

Funeral service for Yancy Gerald (Jerry) Hinson, Jr. will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 2:00pm with visitation at 1:00pm prior to service. Interment will follow service at Garden Park Cemetery.
