David Louis Melville
1933-2021
It saddens all of us to announce that David Louis Melville passed away on July 20, 2021 at the age of 87. We are comforted in knowing that David is with our Lord in heaven.
David is survived by his loving wife Lorraine, daughters Patricia Melville & Suzanne Marshall, husband Brian, grandchildren Caroline, Hannah and William, and son Matt Melville; as well as his sisters Margery Fretz and Patricia McMillan, and his many nieces and nephews.
David was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 29,1933, and moved to Houston when he was two years old. He loved to golf, bowl, play hockey, fish, and hunt. It did not matter whether you were a friend or a stranger, David had a talent for making people smile with his witty one-liners, and his own smile could light up the world.
David was loved by all who knew him, we miss him beyond what any words could express.
A rosary will be held at 9:30 AM and a memorial mass at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3617 Milam Street, Houston, Texas 77002.
