A food truck belonging to Houston dining hotspot The Breakfast Klub caught on fire during a birthday fundraiser hosted by Houston City Councilwoman Tiffany D. Thomas on July 14.

The fire happened around 5:30 p.m. while at the private Tanglewood residence of Thomas, a councilwoman that represents the southwest of Houston, ABC 13 reported.

"So y'all. Here I am minding my business and boom, the truck goes up in flames. I watched from the window and immediately took a shot of patron. No one was hurt and the food was secured before the fire. S/O to HFD #28 for holding us down. I'm going to bed," Councilwoman Thomas wrote in a tweet.

According to ABC 13, the food had already been made and was secured within the residents.

The Breakfast Klub, located in Houston’s Midtown, has been recognized as one of the “best breakfast restaurants in the nation” by Good Morning America, USA Today, Esquire and Forbes Magazines, and acknowledged by the Houston Press 2011 Readers Choice, the website says.

"Our restaurant is rooted in principles of faith, family, kommunity and empowerment. We treat every customer like our family and we believe that family is the cornerstone of any community, so we place an emphasis on supporting activities and causes that enrich and strengthen families," according to the website.

No release from The Breakfast Klub has been issued, and it is unclear if they will purchase another food truck.

Many of those attending the party had not yet arrived, including Mayor Sylvester Turner. Upon arrival, most guest walked around the fully destroyed food truck, as the event proceeded as normal.

No persons were injured during or due to the fire.
