Randolph "Randy" Cline Fletcher

1948-2021

Randolph (Randy) Cline Fletcher passed away on July 3rd, 2021, in Houston, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Naomi Josephine Norris and Elgie Cline Fletcher, his sister, Candyce Anne Mora, and his sister-in-law Jean (Jeannie) Christiansen Fletcher.

He is survived by his son, Garrett Kirby Fletcher, his brother, Norris (Whitey) David Fletcher, his nieces Leigh Anne Mora and Wendi Lou Bailey, his nephews Gary Keith Fletcher and Phillip Craig Fletcher and his wife Bethanie, his great nieces and nephews, his lifelong friend, Linda Fletcher, and his beloved cat, Jackson.

Randy was born in Oakland, California, on March 9th, 1948. Because his father was in the military, the family moved often in Randy's early years. After graduating from high school in Harlingen, TX, he attended Texas A & I University in Kingsville. He then served as Tax Assessor/Collector for the Point Isabel School District, in Port Isabel.

After moving to Houston, Texas, he started his property tax business in the early 80's and continued working until he passed. He loved playing golf and was always telling a good joke. He was a devoted father and a loyal friend.

A Celebration of Randy's life will be held at Royal Oaks Country Club, located at 2910 Royal Oaks Club Dr., Houston, TX, 77082, on Sunday, July 18th, 2021, at 12:00pm.
