March 27, 1931 – June 23, 2021

Dolores Guajardo Lerma was born in Mission, Texas, on March 27, 1931, and was called to join her Lord and Savior on June 23, 2021. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Deacon Pedro Infante Lerma and survived by her children Irasema (Edie) Lerma Thornhill, Pete G. Lerma, Jr. (Eva), and Gina G. Lerma-Avila (Henry). Her grandchildren Jonathan Matthew Lerma (Izabela), Antigone Arford (Scott), Lorie Frances Lerma (James) and Jarrod Thornhill (Victoria) as well as four great grandchildren.

Dolores' absence will be felt by those who called her Mom, Avispa (Bee), Little Girl Toddler, Momo, Comadre and Amiga. While we are left with heavy hearts, we are consoled with the belief that she is now in the arms of the one whom she has missed dearly for the last eight years, the one who affectionately called her "Lolis", our Dad.

We welcome you to join us for Dolores Lerma's Visitation and Holy Rosary on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home at 6900 Lawndale Avenue, Houston, Texas 77023.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 4015 Sherman Street, Houston, Texas 77003. The graveside burial ceremony will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral and Cemetery.
