Margaret Ann Harper, age 78, died peacefully on Saturday, June 19, 2021, surrounded by her loved-ones. Margaret was born in Los Angeles, California on April 5, 1943, and she attended high school and college in Monroe, Louisiana. 

Ann married Edward (Ed) Simonton Harper III in Monroe, LA. on February 5, 1965. Throughout Ann's life, her calling was to care-for and nurture others. Ann tirelessly volunteered at her children's schools, coached their tennis teams, and participated as team mom and troop leader for her children. 

Ann was an avid tennis-player. Following the death of her husband in August, 1992, Ann dedicated her final years to travel, the care of her grandchildren and her mother (Lois). Ann is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Liz) Allen and her son-in-law, Scott Allen, Houston, Texas; daughter, Myrtis (Sissy) Quarfordt and her son-in-law, Bert Quarfordt, Tomball, Texas; son, Edward (Ed) Harper and partner Brandon Bayles, Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Lauren Boase; granddaughter Rebecca (Becky) Allen; grandson, Colby Harper; and grandson, Matthew (Matt) Boase, Ann will have a private internment next to her late husband (date TBD) in Pinehurst, Texas, at Klein Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
