Barbara Lee Mercer King
1941-2021
She passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 80 on June 6, 2021 in the comfort of her home in Sugar Land, Texas after courageously battling multiple illness'.
Barbara was born on April 25, 1941, in Youngstown, OH, born to Freda Dash-Durmis and Clifford Dash. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her.
Barbara is survived by her soulmate, the love of her life and husband of 50 years John King and her sister Nancy Propri, along with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Aside from spending time with family and friends, she was passionate about shopping and traveling.
A celebration of life will be held at their home this Sunday, June 13th at 12pm, 16607 Pecan Drive, Sugar Land, TX 77498
