Henry "Hank" Krason
1941-2021
Surrounded by love, Mr. Henry "Hank" Krason passed away peacefully in the late evening hours of Saturday, May 29, 2021. Hank was born on July 15th 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to his loving parents John and Mary Krason.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Frances Marie Onda Krason, and their two daughters, Bridgette Ann Krason Barnes, and Michelle Ann Warneke and her husband David Edward Warneke. Hank is also survived by his two grandsons, Zachary Krason Branes and spouse Katherine Ann Barnes and Grant Henry Warneke and fiancé Kaylea Marie Moro.
After graduating from Central Catholic High School, Hank attended The University of Pittsburgh where he acquired a BA in Accounting. While in college he met his wife Fran and they were married on November 28, 1964. Before Bridgette entered Kindergarten, Henry moved his young family to Westbury, a neighborhood of Houston Texas where they have been proud residents in the same home for over 50 years. Hank worked as an Accountant and continued his education at Houston Baptist University where he obtained a MBA in Accounting.
Hank later returned to HBU for several years as a Professor of Accounting. Henry was all about the numbers and had a passion for all things related, including teaching his love to others.
Over the years Hank grew to become an avid Houston Astros fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching the games in addition to his continued interest and enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Through the good years and the bad, he was a loyal fan! Hank will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, June 3rd from 6 pm - 8 pm at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet, Bellaire, TX 77401. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Henry's honor at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft, Houston, TX 77096 on Friday, June 4th at 10:30a.m. Interment will follow, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
