Charles Robert Gregg
1929-2021
Charles Robert Gregg, age 91, went home to the Lord on April 21, 2021. Born in Amarillo, Texas, he was raised in Houston. He graduated from Lamar High School, attending Rice University, where he met Margaret, sharing 67 years of marriage. He graduated from the University of Texas, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Frances Gregg, infant son, Charles Robert Gregg, Jr., sister Patsey Kirkpatrick, and wife Margaret.
He is survived by daughters Kathy Stringfellow (Mac), and Debbie Bouche, grandchildren Carrie Peterson (Derek), Regan Stringfellow (Sara), Michelle Smith(Andy), Stephen Bouche, David Bouche and 14 great-grandchildren.
He lived his faith by quiet example. He will be missed by family and friends.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the caregivers and staff at Parkway Place and the nurses from Highland Hospice.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., Second Baptist Church Chapel, 6400 Woodway Dr., Houston.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or charity of choice.
