Randy Michael Blackmon
December 11, 1953 – May 27, 2021
Randy was born in Overton, TX on December 11,1953. He passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 67 in Onalaska, TX on May 27, 2021. He attended Furr High School in Houston, where he met his loving wife of over 50 years, Susan Blackmon. They were married on May 22, 1971 and had 4 boys.
He is survived by his wife Susan Blackmon; his sons Michael Blackmon and partner Stephanie, Scott Blackmon and wife Shawna, Christopher Blackmon and wife Lynn, Matthew Blackmon; his grandchildren Jacob, Sean, Mellissa, Marisa, Madison, Russell, Elaina, and Isaac ; his great grandchildren Abel, Kingsley, Kyren and Amelia. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Randy is preceded by his parents, Sterling and Dorothy Blackmon, his brother Tim Blackmon.
Randy was a loving husband and great father. He coached several of his boy's little league teams. He loved all his grandkids. He enjoyed cooking his world-famous chicken spaghetti every chance he got. He spent more than 48yrs working in the oil field all over the world. Some countries he worked in included Russia, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Pakistan, and Brazil just to mention a few.
Randy looked to forward to retiring, he retired in December 2019 unfortunately he was only able to enjoy 17 months of his retirement.
