Nancy B. Fisher
1941-2021
Nancy L. (Bagley) Fisher, 79, passed away on May 25, 2021 after a valiant fight against cancer. She was born to Vivian Clark Bagley and William W. Bagley on November 7, 1941 in Victoria, Texas.
She graduated from Bay City High School, attended Wharton County Junior
College where she was a member of the Starlet drill team, and transferred to the University of Texas where she graduated in 1964. After graduation she worked for the Engineering
Department at UT as a technical typist and secretary for the chair of the Engineering Department.
She moved back to Houston, Texas and worked as an Administrative Assistant to the President of an International Engineering Company involved in the water filtration business.
She was later responsible for securing international contracts on her own initiative.
Nancy was a kind and compassionate person who gave of herself unconditionally. When family and friends were in need she would step up to help. She was an advocate for many and was greatly appreciated by them.
Nancy married Charles (Hal) Fisher in 1980 and they enjoyed over 41 years of marriage together. She loved to travel and go on cruises, where they visited South America, Alaska and Hawaii. She was an excellent dancer and was an instructor at a Fred Astaire studio during her college days. She later met her future husband on the dance floor.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Rana Elaine Fisher. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Fisher, her step-son Mark Fisher (Marina) of Pensacola, Fla., step-grand children Michael and Brooke Fisher (Sam) of Houston, Texas, cousins Sue Moore (Jerry) and Sherry Brown of Bay City, Texas, and Jerry Chaplin.
Services for Nancy are to be held at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Ave, Houston, Texas on Tuesday, June 1st. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral service to commence at 11:00 am, interment to follow thereafter.
