Charley Yvonne Sellman

Charley Yvonne McKenney Sellman, 94 of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021. Charley was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Charley was born to Charles McKenney and Stella Berry on October 12, 1926 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Milby High School in 1943. Charley married her high school sweetheart, Jack Sellman in 1944 and after WW II they settled in Houston and had two children.
Charley worked for Henry S. Miller as a realtor for several years. Charley was on the Board of Directors of the Milby Alumni and Friends Foundation and a faithful member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her granddaughter, Heather Sturr McSherry.
Charley is survived by her daughter, Kathy Sellman Sturr, and her son, Joe Sellman (Kathy), her grandchildren Blake Sturr (Rachel), Megan Sellman Euseppi (Kaleb), Morgan Sellman, Kris McSherry (Chrissy) and her two great-grand daughters Olivia Sturr and Amelia Sturr.
