Iva Marguerite White
July 22, 1927 – May 9, 2021
Marguerite White was born in Houston, Texas on July 22, 1927, and passed away on the 9th of May, 2021, in her sleep in the home of her family in Conroe, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie L. White, Sr., brother Ben Stephens, Jr., and her much-treasured brothers- and sisters-in-law. Survived by her two sons and their wives, Johnnie and Joy White, Ron and Pam White, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Marguerite was called by many in her extended family, church and community as “Momma White” (who, it so happened, went Home to her Savior on Mother’s Day). A lover of people, especially children, she at one time served as Director of Missionettes for the San Jacinto District of the Assemblies of God. She was faithful and frequent parent volunteer for 5 years at Oak Ridge Elementary, where her granddaughter attended.
A Memorial service will be held at Generations Church, 405 Rayford Road, Spring, Texas. Date and time are pending.
