Rosalind K. "Roz" Robertson

Rosalind K. "Roz" Robertson, native Houstonian and lifelong resident, passed away on Sunday, the 9th of May 2021. She was 92 years of age.

She grew up in Southside Place where her father served as a former Mayor. She graduated from Lamar High School and attended the University of Texas at Austin. For several years she was employed by Shell Pipeline Corporation until her marriage to her husband of forty-two years, C. David Robertson. Later she was active as a real estate broker with Madeline O'Brien Realtors.

Rosalind was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, The Charity Guild of Catholic Women, and The Theresians. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and playing games with friends at The Village of Tanglewood where she had lived for the past several years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her brother, Robert Francis Kachtick, Jr.; her daughter- in-law, Patricia Robertson, and her devoted friend, William H. "Bill" Redding. She is survived by her children, C. David Robertson, Jr. and his wife Denise Robertson, John F. Robertson, William L. Robertson, and Anne Robertson May and her husband Ken Horbelt; and her grandchildren, James F. May, Jr., Dr. Elizabeth May, C. David Robertson, III (Trey), and Monica Robertson.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the afternoon until seven o'clock in the evening on Monday, the 17th of May, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the Vigil for Mrs. Robertson is to commence at seven o'clock.

A Mass of Christian Burial is to be offered at ten o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 18th of May, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road in Houston.

The Rite of Committal is to follow, via escorted cortege, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
