She was predeceased by : her parents, Milton Carey and Mildred Browne Carey; and her siblings, Vernelle Lindley, Patsy Terry, Winford Carey, Don Carey and Ronald Carey.

She is survived by : her husband Joe Conway of Baytown; her daughters, Stefany Beal (Troy) and Ashley Whitmeyer (Travis); her grandchildren, Conway Beal, Archie, Oliver and Benjamin Whitmeyer; her brothers, Edwin Carey and Gayle Carey (Alva); and her close friend Betty Christy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 16th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crespo and Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services (6123 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77521). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 17th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 17th 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (8624 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77521).
